What we do

We run the local noticeboard the Tri-Cities never had.

One independent site covering three cities: we publish local news, stories and video, list the events and recreation programs happening this week, and run a marketplace for the things neighbours buy and sell — plus Homes & Spaces for the places people rent, lease and buy. Around that sits a directory of local businesses and organizations, a members-only forum, and a Perks membership that turns five dollars a month into deals at the shops down the street.

How we build trust

We made anonymity expensive.

Anyone advertising a home, a space, or a business here has proven who they are. The badge on a listing tells you exactly which claims were checked, and by whom.

How we verify people

A reachable person
Every account that posts confirms a working mobile number first.
Government photo ID
Required before any Homes & Spaces listing goes live or any business profile is claimed. Handled by Stripe Identity — your document never touches our servers.
A real company
Company names are checked against BC Registries, so the business on the ad is the business on the record.
A checked licence
Real estate and brokerage licence numbers are looked up by hand on the B.C. public register before the listing goes live.
